Künstlerführung mit Reinhard Sigle
Erlebt an diesem Sonntag eine außergewöhnliche Führung mit dem Künstler Reinhard Sigle (*1954) und taucht ein in die Ausstellung „Reinhard Sigle – Auf der schönen blauen Donau in den Golf von Mexiko“.
Der in Deißlingen lebende #Bildhauer beherrscht die hohe Kunst der Inszenierung – und der Selbstinszenierung. Sigle arbeitet am liebsten mit Bau- oder Brennholz: Brettern, Latten, Splittern und Spänen. Die oft roh bearbeiteten Fragmente fügt er mit Leim zu fragilen, dreidimensionalen Gebilden zusammen – Spuren der Bearbeitung bleiben sichtbar. Leuchtende Signalfarben betonen den Objektcharakter seiner Werke.
Im Anschluss an die Führung habt ihr die Möglichkeit, euch in entspannter Atmosphäre bei einem Glas Sekt mit dem Künstler auszutauschen. 🥂

Artist tour with Reinhard Sigle
This Sunday, experience an extraordinary tour with artist Reinhard Sigle (born 1954) and immerse yourself in the exhibition ‘Reinhard Sigle – On the Beautiful Blue Danube in the Gulf of Mexico’.
The sculptor, who lives in Deißlingen, has mastered the fine art of staging – and self-staging. Sigle prefers to work with construction or firewood: boards, slats, splinters and chips. He uses glue to assemble the often roughly worked fragments into fragile, three-dimensional structures – traces of the work remain visible. Bright signal colours emphasise the object character of his works.
After the tour, you will have the opportunity to chat with the artist in a relaxed atmosphere over a glass of sparkling wine. 🥂

Reinhard Sigle - Auf der schönen blauen Donau in den Golf von Mexiko | mit Audioinstallation von Marie Hak
Der in Deißlingen lebende Bildhauer Reinhard Sigle (*1954) beherrscht die hohe Kunst der Inszenierung – und der Selbstinszenierung. Seit über drei Jahrzehnten sorgt der „Gegen-den-Strom-Schwimmer“ mit hintersinnigen Installationen für Aufsehen.
Im 2-Raum des Museum Art.Plus zeigt Sigle eine blaue Wolke mit „biologischem Inhalt“ sowie eine Installation aus für ihn eher ungewöhnlichen Materialien – darunter ein Kindertrampolin und Antistressbälle in Weltkugelform...

The sculptor Reinhard Sigle (*1954), who lives in Deißlingen, has mastered the fine art of staging - and self-staging. For over three decades, the ‘swimmer against the current’ has been causing a stir with his subtle installations.
In the 2 room of Museum Art.Plus, Sigle is showing a blue cloud with ‘biological content’ as well as an installation made from materials that are rather unusual for him - including a children`s trampoline and anti-stress balls in the shape of a globe...

In his powerful installation, sculptor Thomas Putze turns the museum into a surreal forest of rebirth. Inspired by the concept of a Bannwald – a protected forest left entirely to nature – Putze embraces chaos and intuition to create strange, vibrant creatures from tree trunks, cables, and fragments of old sculptures.
At the heart of the exhibition: an 8-meter-long millipede, crawling toward the viewer like a survivor of some future apocalypse. Surrounded by wild boars, rats, birds and beavers, the installation reflects destruction not as an end, but as a beginning.

Ab morgen, dem 01. Juni 2025 kommt es im Rahmen des Projekts "3 Monate – 3 Plätze" zu umfangreichen Verkehrsänderungen in der Donaueschinger Innenstadt. Auch die Anfahrt zu unserem Museum ist davon betroffen.
Was bedeutet das für euren Besuch?
Mehrere Zufahrtsstraßen in der Innenstadt sind gesperrt oder nur eingeschränkt befahrbar.
Unser Tipp:
Für eine unkomplizierte Anreise empfehlen wir die Zufahrt über Donaueschingen Süd - Abfahrt Allmendshofen (Grüner Baum) von der B27 zu nutzen. Diese Route ist derzeit die beste Möglichkeit, unser Museum von außerhalb Donaueschingens zu erreichen.

Traffic changes in Donaueschingen - Information on accessibility of the Museum Art.Plus by car
From tomorrow, 1 June 2025, there will be traffic changes in the centre of Donaueschingen as part of the ‘3 months - 3 squares’ project. Access to our museum will also be affected.
What does this mean for your visit?
Several access roads in the city centre are closed or only passable to a limited extent.
Our tip:
For an uncomplicated journey, we recommend using the access route via Donaueschingen Süd - exit Allmendshofen (Grüner Baum) from the B27. This route is currently the best way to reach our museum from outside Donaueschingen.
