Titled ‘Future Fossils’, Andreas Tesch (born 1957 in Melbourne – lives and works in Berlin) presents man-made fossils for the future. He uses clay as a medium to visually reflect on his cultural heritage, the Australian landscape and impressions from his everyday life. The resulting forms – sometimes patterns, sometimes fragments – evoke memories and thoughts, and with their organic-looking structures, they allude to the history of nature and its growth processes.
