Donaueschingen Music Days - Panel Discussion

Thu, October 19, 2023, 8pm
Mirror Hall

Today's contemporary music scenes owe their vitality to collaborative practices, blurring the distinctions between composers, performers, and many other creators. Yet each collaboration requires a unique process, adapted to the specific constellation and personalities involved, whether a writer-composer duo or a radical reimagination of orchestral hierarchies. The panelists will discuss the sometimes winding path that leads from individual creative voices to a shared language.

PARTICIPANTS:

  • Felicitas Hoppe (writer)
  • Christian Ritter (cultural and media scientist)
  • Carol Robinson (clarinettist, composer)
  • Iris ter Schiphorst (composer)

A co-production of BR-KLASSIK, SWR2 and hr2-kultur

Our opening hours during the Music Days: Thurs 5-8pm : Fri-Sat 10am-6pm : Sun 10am-5pm
