Every year, the Fachgruppe E-Musik (FEM) of the German Composers' Association honours individuals who have made outstanding contributions to contemporary music. In doing so, the FEM aims to inspire cultural, political, social and artistic engagement.

This year's FEM Pin will be awarded to the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA).

With this award, the FEM+ honours the IEMA's outstanding commitment to the promotion and communication of contemporary music and the sustainable training of young musicians.
