The exhibition features ceramic works by Andreas Tesch (*1957, Melbourne; lives and works in Berlin), an Australian artist who uses clay to create human-made “fossils” for the future.⁠
⁠
Moving between organic structures, fragments, and patterns, his works draw on both his cultural heritage and impressions of the Australian landscape as well as everyday life. Rich in texture and detail, they invite us to imagine what traces of our present might remain for future generations.⁠

Yesterday we had the pleasure of opening a wonderful new 2-Raum exhibition: “Future Fossils” by Andreas Tesch.⁠
⁠
In his works, the Melbourne-born artist, who lives and works in Berlin, creates “fossils for the future” made by human hands. The medium of clay allows him to develop visual forms that reflect his cultural heritage, the Australian landscape, and impressions from everyday life.⁠
