Dialogue with Marcus Aurelius is an interactive installation by artist Bodo Korsig, developed over the course of more than a year in collaboration with David Liebemann (Unterpunkt9 GmbH) and Bonko Karadjov. It combines art, philosophy, and artificial intelligence into an immersive interactive experience. At its heart is a lifelike bust of the Roman emperor, which is made to speak by means of 3D projection.

Visitors can select quotes from the Meditations and respond to them vocally. The AI answers in the same language, thereby opening a direct dialogue between antiquity and the present day. The work invites visitors to ponder issues such as freedom, responsibility and self-reflection. Visitors of all ages can explore the installation and engage in a dialogue with Marcus Aurelius.
